[edit]The "Crap" (athletics section) has been restored because I do not see why it does not belong there. If a good reason and source in the rules is provided as to why this should not exist, I will believe it, but until then, it should stay. - lookitzatree
This school was ranked the 516th best in the United States by Newsweek in 2004. [1] Enjoy your source. (For what its worth, I do agree with the removal of material which doesn't cite a valid reference.) —RaD Man (talk) 04:52, 23 May 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip. Im planning on adding an achievements and awards section, since Mount Tabor has many outstanding athletic awards too. Once again, thanks! Lookitzatree 21:07, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

History
[edit]When did Mt. Tabor become a full-on high school? When I attended (77-79) it was a Jr. High. (Winston used to have a truly odd school system, at the time North was a Sr. High.) Elde 00:10, 5 September 2005 (UTC)
Date of last census
[edit]I have the date of the school's most recent census at May 22, 2005, which is the day that the article was created. If this is incorrect, feel free to update the date.--Conrad Devonshire Talk 05:58, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

New Info
[edit]I'm a Tabor student. A lot of stuff needed to be updated, and vandalism was removed (yes there are gangs, there are at every school here, no there aren't bombs - dumbass). I've seen two different mottos around school, so I added both :/ If you're a member of any of the clubs I removed feel free to add it back in, I just removed ones I'd never heard of. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.93.212.49 (talk) 23:18, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Also, the picture seems to be from before the new building was constructed almost 6 years ago (as evidenced by someone's car being in front of the cafeteria), I might take a new one if I remember. 75.93.212.49 (talk) 13:19, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Stub
[edit]I'm not part of either WikiProject Schools or NC, so I don't want to mess with their templates. But I think I've pulled this out of "stub" range. DavidSSabb (talk) 13:54, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
Mount Tabor HS Sept. 1st Shootings
[edit]This just happened three days ago, so information is very scarce. I will try to get in as much information as I possibly can. I don't know when it occured exactly but I got wind of it around 3:30 PM.
On September 1st 2021, a shooting occured at the Mount Tabor High School. The only victim according to a majority of sources including WXII 12 and WFMY 2 is William Chavis Reynard Miller Jr, who was killed as a result of a gunshot wound. The gunshot did not instantly killed him but his injuries did when he was pronounced dead in the hospital. No other students were shot.
The suspect who is a Mount Tabor student was arrested, however their name was not released considering they are a minor. TheMetaVirus (talk) 17:03, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
