Have you seen "WSFN (Which Stands For Nothing)"
[edit]In September 1977, I wrote a little program, which I called: "WSFN (Which Stands For Nothing) - An Interactive Programming Language for Control of Robots" I think I published it in DDJ either in 1977 or 1978. Subsequently, it was translated and published in a Japanese computer magazine called ASCII. Can someone tell me the volume/number and date of these publications? 66.42.13.108 20:54, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Li-chen Wang (BIG5 code) 王理瑱
An Interactive Programming Language for Control of Robots appeared in DDJ Number 20 [Volume 2, Issue 10]. The language was not given a name. When did it become WSFN? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.232.202.254 (talk) 00:48, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Because it did not have a name, in a subsequent letter to DDJ Editor Jim Warren, I jokingly made up the name WSFN. This nonsense acronym was also used in the code listing that was published in DDJ too. Is it possible to get copies of old DDJ? ~~ Li-chen Wang —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.72.159.33 (talk) 12:36, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
