Nu metal?
[edit]I've heard this album and i can safely say it has NO nu metal elements whatsoever, other then slightly heavy guitars and melodic vocals, most of the stuff on this album isn't even metal to begin with. I know it's sourced but it's like adding nu metal to say Blink 182 or Green Day, it may be sourced but it makes no sense. This album has no rapping, no turntables, no really downtuned riffs, and no growling/screaming. I'm sure the majority of people here agree with me on this. I call the big one bitey 00:27, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'd not also really agree with this classification for Strays; however three notable reviews (two of which are from Entertainment Weekly and Pitchfork) describe at such. We should base the article content on published sources rather than personal opinions, per WP:POV. Myxomatosis57 (talk) 16:12, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
That follows the fallacy that just because it's in print, it must be true. Base article content on facts. Maybe even include a note that reviewers falsely claimed this to be Nu-Metal.RyanG2203 (talk) 18:34, 4 June 2014 (UTC)RyanG
This album is definitely not a nu-metal album, I don't know why but people keep calling the band alternative metal band when they stick much closer to alternative rock and hard rock. Pitchfork are also a trash music publication by giving bogus music review that make no sense by their staff.92.20.188.180 (talk) 14:51, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
