Under Marriages, the information relating to Pamela Anderson's marriage to Jon Peters can incorrectly mislead readers to believe the two were legally married when both of them have publicly acknowledged they never were. Please change the following paragraph from "On January 20, 2020 Anderson married Hollywood producer Jon Peters.[130][131] On February 1, 2020, Anderson announced she and Peters had separated, and later claimed to have never been legally married to Peters.[132]" to "On January 20, 2020, Anderson and Hollywood producer Jon Peters held a private ceremony, which was widely reported as a marriage.[130][131] However, on February 1, 2020, Anderson announced their separation and later clarified that they were never legally married. "In November 2024, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter'[1], Peters also addressed the matter, stating, 'We never got married legally; it was some spiritual deal. But the minute she walked in, it was like I was still in love with her.'"'

Given this fact, please also remove the following text from the infobox: "Jon Peters (m. 2020; ann. 2020)" since they were never legally married and this is innacurate. Graygoldmgmt (talk) 07:06, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The way the opening bio is currently written can be misleading to readers, giving them the idea that Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee intentionally filmed a "sex tape" as opposed to having a personal home video stolen and then sold as a sex tape.

Please change "In 1995, a sex tape of Anderson with her then-husband Tommy Lee was stolen and leaked, which resulted in a legal fight and made her the subject of controversy." to "In 1995, a personal home video of Anderson and her then-husband, Tommy Lee, was stolen, leaked, and sold as a sex tape. This led to a legal battle and made her the subject of controversy." Graygoldmgmt (talk) 07:28, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Given the popularity of Pamela's broadway debut and that it was the chronologically the first major moment to kick off her reappraisal, pllease change the last line of the second intro paragraph from "2020s saw the reappraisal of her career following the release of the documentary Pamela, a Love Story (2023), and her role in the indie film The Last Showgirl (2024)." to "2020s saw the reappraisal of her career following her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago (2022), the release of the documentary Pamela, a Love Story (2023), and her role in the indie film The Last Showgirl (2024)." Please cut irrelevant and unnoteworthy reality tv show guest appearances from opening bio, second paragraph - changing it from "Anderson also appeared in her own reality series Pam: Girl on the Loose (2008) and has been involved with a number of television shows such as Dancing with the Stars (2010, 2012), Bailando (2011), VIP Brother (2012), Dancing on Ice (2013), and Danse avec les stars (2018)." to "Anderson also appeared in her own reality series Pam: Girl on the Loose (2008) and has been involved with a number of television shows such as Dancing with the Stars (2010, 2012)." Are there COI issues here? Martinevans123 (talk) 11:34, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm assuming (hopefully not unreasonably) that the account Graygoldmgmt is Anderson's management company, in which case yes there is most definitely a COI issue. Axad12 (talk) 11:39, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The user seems to have acknowledged that there is a COI issue by their use of the COI edit template, but that does not discharge their responsibility for clear disclosure of the nature of the COI.
In addition, I'm unsure why the user has repeatedly (and very specifically) edited their signature down from 'Graygoldmgmt' to 'Graygoldmm', thus making it impossible to access their userpage and talkpage from their signature. Axad12 (talk) 11:45, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe a competency issue. Martinevans123 (talk) 11:47, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds perfectly reasonable. Although the proposed changes don't look particularly promotional? Martinevans123 (talk) 11:46, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When a user has a COI, they must clearly declare what it is and then make an edit request using the COI edit request procedure. If the request is deemed to be legit then it will be implemented in mainspace, but not until such time as the requisite disclosure has been made.
WP:COI states: The Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require that editors who are being paid for their contributions disclose their employer (the person or organization who is paying for the edits); the client (the person or organization on whose behalf the edits are made); and any other relevant affiliation. This is the policy of the English Wikipedia. Axad12 (talk) 11:52, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes ok, themz da rulez. Do you want me to self-revert below? Martinevans123 (talk) 11:56, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No harm done. I would hold back on a revert because hopefully the user will respond sometime later today and then everything is in order and the edits can be made. If they don't respond today, probably best to revert and then await developments. Thanks, Axad12 (talk) 11:59, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:01, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies for any mistakes so far, first timer here! Just updated COI and fixed username. Hopefully that should work, but will stay tuned for any other feedback. Thank you both! Graygoldmgmt (talk) 19:34, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please add additional accreditation for the producer of her documentary, who received an Emmy award nomination for the project, as well as the credit for her book becoming a New York Times bestseller.

Under 2022–present: Acting return and films, please update the second paragraph from "On January 31, 2023, the documentary about her life Pamela, a Love Story, directed by Ryan White, was released on Netflix. Its release coincided with her autobiography, Love, Pamela (2023)." to "On January 31, 2023, the documentary about her life Pamela, a Love Story was released on Netflix. It was directed by Ryan White & produced by Brandon Thomas Lee, who received his first Emmy nomination as Producer in the 2023 Outstanding Documentary Or Nonfiction Special category. [1] The film's release also coincided with her autobiography, Love, Pamela (2023), which landed the No. 2 spot on The New York Times bestsellers list within it's first week of release. [2]
