There MUST be some input given on Mr. Bourassa's life and career before the October Crisis... I mean, according to this, before that, the guy never got elected in the first place! ;) There should be much more information and, maybe, a slight rewrite. --Liberlogos 15:11, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Freemasonry?
[edit]Why is there a link to freemasonry for both Robert Bourassa and Jacques Parizeau? There is no explanation in the text.
reasons
[edit]"Bourassa lost his seat to the Parti Quebecois candidate Jean-Guy Parent." for what reason? Jackzhp 13:09, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Homages
[edit]There is a "Reservoir Robert Bourassa" in northern Quebec. Check Google Maps. Was this named in his honor? If so, it should be in the article, especially since the renaming of the street in his honor was nixed. User:wpostma
Assessment
[edit]I have assessed this as B class, given its level of detail and organization, although it needs more in-line citations and referencing. I have assessed this as low importance, as I do not feel that many people outside of Canada would be familiar with the subject of the article. Cheers, CP 17:41, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have reassessed the article to C class. Only 4 references and a very scant development of his 4 terms as premier of Quebec does not warrant B status. Bouchecl (talk) 01:05, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
Oka Crisis?
[edit]This was clearly a major event in Canadian history, and even though it doesn't garner noteworthy media attention, it should at least be mentioned in this page, along with Bourassa's positions during the crisis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.235.66.17 (talk) 22:12, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
