Note about Tomkins County, NY reference added
[edit]The reference contains an extensive biography of Henry W. Sage, and is dated 1894. It therefore should be public domain, as the copyright has expired, and could be copied and pasted in, but I recommend that only if it will be cleaned up in the process. There's a lot there, some of which should be trimmed for an encyclopedia article.
It was written three years before his death, as a tribute to all the good things he did for Cornell.
Note that his donations to the University were in the form of endowments, not simply donations, so the effect is much greater.
Here [1] is another reference that has data that belongs in the article (see Question #3, a little down the page). If no one else gets to this first, I'll add it later. --Unfocused 20:00, 26 May 2005 (UTC)
